Of all our achievements, we are most proud of our students. working for avs
Our school provides a great learning community, where students, staff and parents work collaboratively to realise every student's potential. We have a hardworking and committed team of specialist teachers who are dedicated to ensuring the best possible outcomes for our students. We have a stable and experienced staff who can offer support and guidance to colleagues at any stage of their career and we actively encourage staff to create a personal improvement and development plan so we can help them realise their career goals and ambitions.
We are considerate of the wellbeing of our staff and offer a range of wellbeing and social events throughout the school year plus all teaching staff have more than 10% PPA time as part of their timetable,. Across the school, teaching is creative, ambitious and evidence-informed which promotes a place of learning that challenges and support all students. Everything that we do at the school is underpinned by our core values of ambition, respect, and care. Our staff are enthusiastic, have a good sense of humour and support each other which makes it a fantastic place to work.
